Travel of Blood

Human blood is an adventurous fluid. It travels right from top to bottom of your body. In general human blood circulate in two different pathway namely Pulmonary Circulation and Systemic Circulation.
What course the blood to make such a journey? Have you guys ever think about it !
Well it is not black magic, but the blood are transported due to the pumping action of the heart and the general characteristic of vessels. Each time the heart pumps, there will be a movement of blood into the heart chambers and also away from the heart.

Blood Circulation

Let us peek into the Pulmonary and Systemic Circulation.

Pulmonary Circulation
Deoxygenated blood travels from right ventricle to the lung and exchange of gases occur. Then the oxygenated blood will be transported into the left atrium via the pulmonary vein.
Easy Buddy: Heart > Lungs > Heart

Systemic Circulation.
The oxygenated blood will be pumped into the Aorta and transported to all the body cell except lungs.
The deoxygenated blood will travel back into the heart via Superior and Inferior Vena Cava.\
Easy Buddy:  Heart > Body Cells > Heart

Overall Circulation
Heart > Body Cells > Heart > Lungs > Heart
Lung is the friend of heart, Body Cells are its foe
